Etiopia El Salvador

Behind the name Etiopia lies an experimental project that looks to the origins of coffee... but with a contemporary perspective.

Finca Etiopia is one of the flagship farms of Los Naranjos Café, in the Apaneca region of Ahuachapán, El Salvador. Founded in 2018, it spans 34.5 hectares, only 13 of which are cultivated with coffee: the rest is preserved forest, protecting biodiversity and water resources.

In the shadow of the Ilamatepec volcano, on rich volcanic soils with fully shaded crops, this SL28 is processed using Carbonic Maceration: an experimental technique aimed at enhancing aromatic clarity and complexity.

Sensory Experience

In the cup it is bright and layered.

It opens with elegant notes of chamomile and vanilla rooibos, followed by a lively freshness reminiscent of a lemon-lime soda. Unripe cherry brings tension and brilliance, while a whisky-like nuance adds depth and character.

The result is a clean, defined profile with vibrant acidity and a refined structure. A coffee that unites floral delicacy and technical precision.
